Context

Following two major group-wide initiatives led by a global consulting firm—focused on process transformation and centralised procurement—the organization moved into a critical execution phase. This required a comprehensive digital overhaul, systems consolidation, and strong governance to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.


Role & Mandate

I was closely involved in implementing the transformation recommendations, working across stakeholders to redesign processes, modernise systems, and establish the structures required to manage change at scale.


Key Contributions & Outcomes

Partner Evaluation & Commercial Negotiation
Led the evaluation and selection of process and technology partners for the transformation journey. Through structured assessments and rigorous negotiations, achieved a cost reduction of nearly 45% against initial proposals—without compromising delivery quality or scope.

Process Documentation & Blueprinting
Documented As-Is processes across functions, identified gaps and inefficiencies, and designed To-Be operating models. This formed the functional blueprint for future-state operations and system configuration.

Defining the Digital Landscape
Played a key role in streamlining the group’s technology ecosystem, supporting the transition from eight disparate ERP platforms to a unified SAP S/4HANA environment. Additionally, coordinated the design and rollout of:

  • A Board-level Executive Dashboard for real-time visibility
  • Mobile-enabled solutions to enhance access and decision-making

Establishing the Transformation Office
Set up a dedicated Transformation Office to govern execution, define roles and responsibilities, and maintain momentum. Introduced structured tracking mechanisms, regular review meetings, and reporting frameworks to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability.
